Ma helps create intentional, personal, and nourishing social gatherings between great people. It centers around curated, co-created guest lists by encouraging participants of a gathering to bring along others they believe should be there.
How it works
- Host creates an intimate gathering and sets invitation limits
- Guests can invite people they know and trust, creating branching invitation chains
- Everyone at the gathering is connected through someone they know—no random strangers
Why Ma exists
There's a massive hole in how we create gatherings. Intimate dinners with 5 close friends work fine through text messages. Massive public festivals use Eventbrite and social media marketing. But everything in between? The middle zone is basically unsupported.
You want new people, but not random people. You want to reach beyond your immediate friend group without posting publicly and hoping strangers show up.
Trust chains beat public advertising for fellowship-focused gatherings. If you like me, and I like my friend, and my friend likes their friend... then you probably won't hate being in a room with my friend's friend. There's a chain of friendship connecting you.
When everyone in a room is connected through these trust chains, something shifts. People feel safer. Masks come off faster. Conversations go deeper sooner. This is how you actually make new friends as an adult.
